ABOUT THE AUTHOR JOAN FALLON

Born in Dumfries, of Irish and Scottish parents, Joan Fallon has been living in Spain for the last twenty-eight years. A history graduate, turned teacher, and later a management trainer, she is now a writer and novelist. Her work encompasses both historical fiction, contemporary women’s fiction and non-fiction. Recently she started writing a crime series, locating her protagonist in present-day Málaga.

For many years Joan was a self-published author, which meant not only writing the books but publishing and marketing them. Recently all that has changed and now she has an excellent publisher in the UK, Vinci Books, allowing her to devote more time to her writing.

Joan is a member of the Society of Authors, the Colectivo Malagueño de Escritores, The Irish Writers Union and the Crime Writers Association. When she is not at her computer, she is exercising her dog or coaching her grandson to play golf.
